Since 1960, Kypseli has been delighting Volos. Since 1990, the Skarveli family has continued this story with an even stricter commitment to pure ingredients and daily care.
Our History
Kypseli started as a small local dairy pastry shop where people stopped for milk pie, cream, and sweets 'like at home'. Over the years, it became a familiar stop for those seeking something warm, fresh, and authentic in Volos.
When the Scarvelis family took over the shop in 1990, they decided to take this tradition a step further: they reworked the recipes and based them exclusively on fresh milk from local producers, pure butter, fresh eggs, and selected raw materials.
Today, the galaktoboureko, the cream, the rice pudding, and the yogurt of Kypseli are flavours that are passed down from generation to generation – from the old patrons to their children and grandchildren.

For us, quality is not a slogan; it is the way we work in the workshop, every day. We want every sweet that leaves our Hive to look like something we would serve at our own family table.
